  1. Great Post!!! very usefull and everything is true, i use airbnb i think is the best options for me

  2. Couchsurfing is one of my favourite ways to travel.

I’ve done a lot of hosting here in Melbourne over the past year or so and now lots of my upcoming Europe trip is planned around catching up with them.

It’s such a great way to meet people, experience a new culture and save money on accomodation. The locals will always be able to show you the out of the way food places that are delicious, the small unknown museum that is absolutely amazing or some random neighbourhood of a city that will just wow you.

When I’m not couchsurfing I use a combination of hostels and air bnb. I would really love to look into house sitting though.

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
