  1. As well as checking visa requirements, I would also check the safety advice of your government for that destination. Governments differ in the advice they give. For example, when I visited Iran my government gave it the same safety level as France but the State Department advised US citizens not to travel there.

That’s a really good point, Hazel!

Your blog is very stylish and beautiful! Thanks for all of your tips and advices. I really was surprised by the VPN part, as it is a very rare tip, unfortunately. I think it the best tip and very useful! I have Nord, and it saves me so much money on tickets and keeps me safe while on public wifi. Wish you luck, and thanks for the beautiful photos.

Thanks, Marissa! And I definitely think traveling with a VPN is crucial!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
