  1. As well as checking visa requirements, I would also check the safety advice of your government for that destination. Governments differ in the advice they give. For example, when I visited Iran my government gave it the same safety level as France but the State Department advised US citizens not to travel there.

I think it the best tip and very useful! I have Nord, and it saves me so much money on tickets and keeps me safe while on public wifi. Wish you luck, and thanks for the beautiful photos.
