The wine list is interesting. However you have Hawkes Bay, New Zealand listed which is in the east of New Zealand’s North Island. Above the post, you have a photo which is actually of Rippon Vineyard which is in Wanaka in the Central Otago region of New Zealand’s South Island – a region more famous for world class new world Pinot Noir. These two regions are nowhere near each other and the photo has nothing to do with Hawkes Bay wine region.

It would be like putting a post about the Champagne region, and including a photo of the Rhone Valley.

Hey there! Thanks for the note 🙂 I’ve updated the photo!

Great to see Chile on your list. I lived there happily for years and while I’ve now left the country, my love for Chilean wine hasn’t left me! Personally I loved Casablanca region – great wines and super easy to get to from Santiago in a day trip. San Antonio has some fantastic vineyards too, and still only a weekend away (some friends did the 3 hour return trip in one day too).

Such a beautiful place! And thank you for sharing, Nina 🙂

@hotelsdotcom has this feature called Save Your Way, where you can either take the discount now or bank it as rewards for a future trip — and you already know which one I’m choosing.

Planner today. Trip funded tomorrow.
Nairobi might be the only place in the world where you can spot rhinos with a city skyline behind them 🦏🌆

We visited Nairobi National Park with three kids three and under (!!) and it ended up being one of the easiest, most rewarding safari experiences.

The wildest part? It’s literally just a short drive from the city center—you can go from downtown Nairobi to spotting lions and rhinos in under 30 minutes.

You can self-drive or hire a private guide. Either way, the wildlife viewing is incredible (we saw SO many rhinos).

Add a picnic inside the park, then pair it with a visit to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see rescued baby elephants and rhinos.

If you’re visiting Nairobi, this is an absolute must. Especially with little ones.

Thousands of unread emails. Hundreds of text messages I haven’t responded to.

Flights, content creation, school logistics, edits, visas — usually all open at the same time. When you’re juggling that many tabs, you need a laptop that can actually keep up.

My laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen AI and is built for real multitasking, lets me run AI tools directly on my laptop (even offline), and keeps my editing workflow moving fast.

Multitasking is a lifestyle. Good thing this one’s built for it.

There’s something really special about finding a place that feels like your own childhood… and what you always dreamed of for your own kid 🤍

Tucked away in the Cape Winelands, about an hour from Cape Town, South Africa, @camp.canoe is one of those places that somehow feels both completely off-grid and perfectly convenient.

Set on one of my favorite family-friendly wine farms, @boschendal, you get the best of both worlds—wide open space, no distractions, and just enough nearby to make it effortless with little ones (and fun for the adults).

Days here look like:
– swimming in the dam
– slow mornings outside
– wood-fired hot tub soaks
– braai (bbq) under the stars

It’s a little bit luxe, it’s nostalgic, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer. ✨

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
