  1. I also find it helpful to have pouch bags inside my big bag to compartmentalize things 🙂

    Surviving long flights

I like to travel to far and distant locations, as my escape from my day-to-day life. Sometimes, I get to travel for more than 12 hours, and a stopover or two. I used to stress out because of the time, and getting out of the flight usually got me so cranky, but, I think it’s getting better now, because I have travelled so much, and have learned a few things that would help make the journey easier. For one, I have realized to pack smart and light for hand carry items. Having an extra set of clothes helps as well, so that I still get to feel clean. I drink liquid a lot, to stay hydrated, which also means, I like to get the aisle seat as well, because I take trips to the bathroom. Also, though, being near the aisle lets me walk up and down to stretch out the muscles. And finally, I sleep on the plane. I have found that I sleep well when I am able to hear ambient noise. So, now I bring headphones, and have some ambient noise that I play from my cellphone. I wake up, and get to my destination fresh!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
