Hello! Your revelation about how some of the best ATVs are those that are totally safe for people of all age groups really grabbed my interest. My husband thought it would be nice if the two of us get to spend some time at the nearby forest reserve next weekend. I’ll make sure he keeps this detail in mind when reserving the required stuff later.

Hi Amy! You’ll have to let me know how your ATV adventure went 🙂

How early did you get started? Do you recommend a certain time? And about when did you finish?

    • The Blonde Abroad

Hi Meredith! We started early-ish…I mean definitely on island time, but very cognizant that it gets HOT mid-day. I can’t quite recall what time we went out, likely between 8-10am (it was right after breakfast). It’s definitely a full day but we were back at our hotel well before sunset so you can definitely fit a lot in. As for finishing time, it totally depends on how long you decide to stay in each place! Definitely wear sunscreen and cover the seat to your ATV (like with a towel) — it gets SCORCHING in the sun.

I have thousands of articles on my travel blog, which is great, but can understandably feel overwhelming if you’re looking for something specific like hotel recommendations.

Which is why I’m super excited to let you know that I created a Travel Shop on the Expedia App where I’ll be sharing curated Collections from my travels to over 75 countries, with my favorite hotel stays, my own bucket list hotels, and getaway recommendations like “the best hotels for a girlfriend getaway”.

It’s so easy to navigate — you can book directly from the Expedia App or save to your profile for a future trip.

I’m working on adding Collections for everywhere I’ve traveled, so be sure to bookmark my Expedia Travel Shop so you can easily reference all of my hotel recommendations in one place.

I’m so excited to share that @the_baby_abroad family travel blog is now live! 👶🏼✈️ TheBabyAbroad.com

I’ll be sharing countless articles addressing the most common travel questions I got throughout my pregnancy, Oliver’s early travels, and now that he’s a BUSY toddler.

Of course, I’ll also be sharing all of my tips for flying with a little one, airline reviews (with kids in mind), comprehensive travel guides on the destinations we’ve traveled as a family, honest product reviews, and everything in between.

But what I’m most excited about is that this will be a community resource with tons of guest authors. Raising a child is such a unique experience for every family, and I personally love to see how ALL types of families travel.

My hope is that The Baby Abroad will become a resource that represents all types of families exploring the world with their kids at every stage of life.
