Diana what about The High-line people’s park which starts across the street from Javids exhibition centre

    • The Blonde Abroad

Hey Gregory! The High Line is a super cool place – if she included EVERYTHING about NYC this guide would go on forever. 😉 But if you have time, I would recommend checking it out!

I visited NYC for the first time in 2009 and it was a family trip with my parents and brothers. My mum was a bit worried about the city and the people because well as you say, New Yorkers are not always portrayed as the loveliest people… But we were absolutely overwhelmed by how nice they actually are! Back then we were traveling around the city with an actual paper map and when someone assumed we are lost they offered us help, we didn’t even have to ask! NYC is simply amazing! I wish to live there one day 🙂
    This article is great!

Hey Hana! Thanks for sharing your experience. I think one of the most important things about travel is getting to see a place from your own perspective and making your own observations. NYC is a truly incredible place to visit (and potentially live!).

Ever wondered what it’s like to visit Mars without leaving Earth? 🚀

Welcome to Wadi Rum, Jordan — the red desert wonderland that feels like another planet. 🌌

From racing through the dunes on a 4x4 tour, to sleeping under the stars in a Martian-style tent 🛖✨, to soaring over the landscape in a hot air balloon at sunrise 🎈— this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Add Wadi Rum to your bucket list — you won’t believe it’s real until you see it.

Back in Jordan for the fourth time, and it continues to inspire me just as much as it did on my first visit in 2012! 🐪

Jordan remains one of my all-time favorite destinations thanks to its incredible diversity and rich cultural experiences.

From exploring the ancient city of Petra and floating in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, to discovering the vibrant streets of Amman, sleeping under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert, and scuba diving in the crystal-clear Red Sea in Aqaba—every journey here offers something unforgettable.

One experience I always recommend (and can’t wait to do again) is canyoning the Siq Trail in Wadi Mujib.

There’s truly no place like Jordan. 🇯🇴✨
