Provence is one of my favorite regions in France! It’s home to a diverse range of landscapes that feature everything from vineyards to gorgeous lavender fields, and picturesque rivers that are hidden among the mountains.

I started my trip in Avignon and spent five days exploring the nearby cities and villages. If you only have time for one day trip, I recommend visiting the Lavender Fields in Provence. Head out to Valensole (just under two hours from Avignon) to find the famous Plateau de Valensole. Depending on the time of year that you visit, you will be able to catch them—the best time to see the fields is in June or July.

Another one of my favorite day trips was to Verdon du Gordge! It’s an iconic spot in Provence that boasts dramatic limestone cliffs and beautiful crystal clear water.

When I was planning my trip to Provence, the Gordes Village Market was at the top of my bucket list—and it didn’t disappoint. The farmer’s market happens every Tuesday morning, and you can buy everything from soap to clothes and an abundance of food and wine.

Gordes is also close to some of Provence’s other top attractions. You’ll be only a short drive away from Senanque Abbey and the beautiful town of Roussillon, which I recommend visiting as well!

Oliver’s ”Born TWO Explore” second birthday party! 🎂🏕️

We spent the most perfect sunny day celebrating our little happy camper with family and friends!

A few highlights included this amazing inflatable tent—it really created the “summer” camp vibes and took 2 minutes to setup.

We lined up a few camping tables with plush wood slice cushions for an adorable picnic setup for the kids.

And, a tradition I started last year, souvenirs for each kiddo to take home. We built a backdrop to hang these summer camp backpacks with custom embroidered patches!
 I was torn on not doing a cake since we were doing s’mores for dessert. But, Oliver’s grandma made this “fake” cake which turned out incredibly cute and was the perfect centerpiece. She also set up this nature loom craft for the kids.

I just returned from an epic adventure with Rivian, where I got an early look at the Gen2 R1S and R1T that just became available!

We drove up to the absolutely dreamy Cedar Lakes Estate to see some of the new features firsthand.

The new models feature beautiful new trim and paint options, a glass roof that can be electronically tinted, up to an estimated 420 miles of range, more cameras, and safety features like blind spot monitoring that gives a high res view of the lane over before you change, and tons more!

You can even turn the frunk into a cooler—how “cool?”

And for the fellow parents out there: With a subscription to Connect+, you’ll be able to stream video through Google Cast and get access to more than 3K apps when you’re charging up and Apple Music’s catalog to help keep everyone happy on the road.

One thing I’ve been highly anticipating is the new Travel Kitchen—and we got a full demonstration! When folded, it’s as compact as a briefcase and unfolds to fit perfectly on the back hatch of the R1S or R1T. There are 2 induction cooktops for more even and safer cooking.

The Travel Kitchen should be available to order in late summer!

I put down my deposit for the R1S before it launched back in 2021, so to say that I was excited about this car is an understatement!

I wanted a smart EV that could do it all, with tons of space and features for epic family trips. With all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and a 300-mile range, we are ready for any adventure!

There’s an optional third row that comfortably seats 7 passengers. With both rear rows folded down, you have over 104 cubic feet of space!

Kids travel with a LOT of stuff. So, the amount of storage space in the R1S is a game-changer.

The front trunk is also, you guessed it, HUGE and is perfect for:

-Balance bikes and beach toys
-Pack and plays and diaper bags
-A cooler! You can actually fill it with ice and drinks (how cool?!)

And, there’s a built-in air compressor for floaties and a removable Bluetooth camp speaker for dance parties.

It really is the ultimate family car!
