Is there a visa for moving permanently? Like, if you plan to stay in Korea for life? I’m 12, and I plan o move when I turn 16 (Yes I love kpop! But it isn’t just for Kpop)

Hi Rei! I’m sure there are ways to move there permanently and different visas – you’ll need to figure out which one works best for you and your situation!

hi! i want to move to south korea so i can become a kpop idol. i know there are a lot of setbacks but im not worried about that! im only 14, and im going to try my hardest to practice, but do you have any advice for me? im not really sure what else i need to know, but are there any jobs for high school and college students? thanks in advance!

Hi Kai! I don’t know much about becoming a Kpop idol, but my best advice would be to focus on school, educate yourself about the industry, find mentors within the industry and a supportive group of friends and creatives to grow with. And you might want to talk to people that live in the area you’re wanting to move to as well. They’ll have more info about jobs for high school and college students 🙂

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
