    A well written article that does not address Morocan taxes. All income including income from outside Morocco is taxed if you have a residency permit and/or you stay in Morocco more than 183 days per year. This includes pensions and Social Security monthly payments. Anyone with a typical Social Security payment amount can expect to pay 38% in Moroccan taxes. Plus, the 20% VAT tax on almost all off your purchases while in Morocco.
