  1. I’m planning to do thailand solo but the one thing I’m concerned about is getting transport (taxis) alone from the aiport to the hostel etc. I would feel quite unsafe being alone in a taxi with a foreign driver. I’m sure it’s all in my head lol, did you find this to be safe and easy to get get round?

    • Thailand is incredibly safe. I assure you, a cab driver won’t be a problem 🙂 If you are flying into Bangkok and have an unlocked phone, you can buy a SIM card right inside the airport for something like $3 and you’ll get data on your phone pretty much all over Thailand so you feel safe. If it puts you at ease, you can call the hostel when you arrive at the airport to let them know you should be arriving soon. You also won’t have any problems finding someone who speaks English in the airport who can help you get a cab.

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
