  1. Wow, I am visiting Thailand early next year and I really can’t wait! Thanks for the travel tips. Do you find that trains are often a safe way for women solo travelers to get around?

    • In Thailand you can use the ferries to get to the islands or use the bus system. It’s no all that reliable all the time, but definitely safe. You’ll find that Thai people are incredibly friendly and most people will speak English in areas with tourism 🙂

  2. Thanks for this post! I’m thinking of doing Thailand by myself next winter, possibly alone. I’d rather go by myself than convince a few friends to go with me that don’t have the same travel style as me. I just did Taiwan by myself and I had a great time because I didn’t have to compromise on anything I wanted to do.

    • Soooo much better to roll solo! Especially in Thailand. You’ll meet so many people!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
