card_name offers some of the best travel rewards and perks on the market. From lounge access to plenty of opportunities to earn points, I think it’s one of the best credit cards for business travelers!

If you have your own business like me, you can rack up miles each time you spend money on travel expenses and big-ticket items.

American Express really sweetens the deal for business owners with this card!

Earn 1.5X Points on up to $2 million of eligible purchases in key business categories AND on eligible purchases of $5K or more.

Get 5X Membership Rewards(R) points on flights and prepaid hotels on amextravel.com.

And earn 1X Points on other eligible purchases.

How to Redeem Your Points

As with most travel reward credit cards, I wouldn’t redeem your American Express points for cash back, gift card, or online retailers as those options drastically decrease the value of your points to 1 cent per point (or less).

Use Membership Rewards ‘Pay with Points’ for a flight with a qualifying airline, and you can get 35% of the points back, up to 500,000 bonus points per calendar year, when you book on amextravel.com.

The best way to make the most of your points is to book your flights and hotels using one of their 20 airline and hotel partners.

Their partner airlines include:

• Cathay Pacific (Asia Miles)

While it does require more research, you can stretch your points further and score some excellent deals!

Bonus Benefits

Lounge Access: One of the biggest benefits of card_name is its access to airport lounges around the world. The American Express Global Lounge Collection(R) can provide an escape at the airport. With more than 1,400 airport lounges across 140 countries and counting, you have more lounge location options than any other credit card on the market as of 3/2023. Enrollment required.

$200 Airline Fee Credit: Get up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year for checked baggage fees, lounge day passes, and more at one selected airline.

$189 CLEAR(R) Credit: Use your Card and get up to $189 back per year on your CLEAR(R) membership.

Inflight WiFi: You’ll receive ten free Gogo inflight WiFi passes annually and free Boingo WiFi access inside airports nationwide.

Gold Status with Hilton and Marriot Bonvoy: Once you reach your final destination, card_name gives you access to Gold status at Hilton Honors and Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status without meeting any stay requirements. Plus, if you book online, you earn 5x the points to redeem later. Enrollment required.

Dell Credit: Enroll to get up to $200 in statement credits annually by getting up to $100 semi-annually for U.S. purchases with Dell. Enrollment required.

No Foreign Transaction Fees: This is a huge benefit for international travelers. Some credit cards charge foreign fees when used abroad, but not in this case! See Rates and Fees

Fine Hotels & Resorts: If you decide to opt out of staying at a Hilton or Marriott but book through AMEX’s Fine Hotels & Resorts booking portal, you are guaranteed a noon check-in time (so long as it’s available), 4 PM check-out time, a room upgrade (if available), daily breakfast for two, complimentary WiFi, and a unique amenity worth $100 or more.

Annual Fee

The annual fee for card_name is annual_fees.

While that is one of the higher annual fees we see on travel reward credit cards, you have a lot of added travel perks, benefits (like lounge access!), and credits that make it worth it.

Overall

card_name might not be the best choice if you don’t spend much money on business travel expenses, like airfare and hotels.

But if you’re racking up business expenses and plan to pay off your card monthly, the travel perks are almost impossible to beat!
