Thanks so much Kiki for your inspiration and innovation! Out of all your countries covered, your Morocco blogs and videos are my favorite. Morocco remains a land not explored by me, So I review your Morocco posts to remind me of my Bucket List.

Hi Trudy! Morocco certainly is magical and it’s a great place to have on a bucket list 🙂 I hope you get to adventure the country someday!

Hi, Kiki! I’ve been following your posts since my first trip to Morocco back in 2019. I just received a grant to teach in Morocco for 10 months, departing this coming September. I’m a freelance filmmaker (obsessed with your videos), and I have a pretty specific question. I noticed in your “Exploring Morocco” highlights reel at the 1:30 mark, there’s an awesome overhead shot of you in the Sahara. I typically use a DJI Mavic Mini drone for my films but am nervous about bringing one through customs into Morocco. Do you have tips on how to legally use and/or bring a drone into Morocco? I feel like I can’t miss out on those awesome overhead shots, but I’m just scared of having it confiscated since it’s my filmmaking baby. If you didn’t get that shot by drone, I would love to know how you did!

Love, love, love your content and can’t wait to see more. Thank you in advance!

Hi Reagan! I would 100% not recommend bringing a drone into Morocco. From what I’ve learned the hard way, drone restrictions are VERY real and taken very seriously. I’ve been held at the airport in customs for hours on end getting my drone confiscated.
