  1. This got me all excited again over Harry Potter! I’ve been a huge fan for several years and it’s really interesting to see how much time and effort they put in to make these movies happen. It is truly in all sense of the word “magical”. Very awesome read, I look forward to more posts!

Wooohooo! It’s fun to have special places like this to add to a trip and spark that childhood nostalgia, don’t you think? 🙂

      • I do think it is important to have that nostalgia factor. Even to places I’ve never seen or visited. That’s the beauty of traveling.

          Completely agree!

          • Do you do collaboration with other travel blogs?

That was super helpful Kiki! One question, did you go by yourself or have any tips for someone going alone? I’m so excited but worried it won’t be as good without someone to share the experience and take photos with.

Día de los Muertos in Oaxaca, Mexico! 💀🌼🇲🇽
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
In 2024, I finally got to experience Día de Muertos in Oaxaca, and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! This had been on my bucket list for YEARS.

One of the things I admire most about Mexican culture is the beautiful way they honor those who have passed. Losing someone we love is one of the hardest parts of being human, and I think there’s something so special about having an annual tradition dedicated to remembering and celebrating their lives.

Día de Muertos is actually a multi-day celebration, with different days dedicated to honoring loved ones who have passed, including children and pets.

Families create beautiful ofrendas (altars) filled with photos, marigolds, candles, and their loved ones’ favorite foods and drinks. It’s believed that their spirits return to visit, and these offerings help welcome them home.

What I love most is that it’s not about forgetting the sadness of losing someone. It’s about making space for the joy of having loved them in the first place.

I just think the world could use a little more of this ❤️

If there’s one place that deserves a spot on your fall travel bucket list, it’s New England. 🍁🍂

There’s a reason leaf peeping is practically a sport here! Winding country roads, covered bridges, ridiculously charming little towns, apple cider donuts, and fall colors that somehow look even better in person.

An autumn road trip through New England is one of those trips that absolutely lives up to the hype.

💌 Drop “FALL” in the comments and I’ll send you my complete New England fall road trip guide, including my favorite stops, scenic drives, and everything you need to plan your own trip!
