    Kiki,
Yours was the very first blog that I stumbled across back in.. I want to say, 2015? My partner and I had just chosen our first international destination together out of a hat (Hong Kong), and I had NEVER been out of the United States in my life! I was so inspired by your travels that traveling is now such a big part of who I am. Thank you for the inspiration – these days, I can’t travel as much as I normally like to, but I sure can write about it.

      Hi Cindy!

Oh my goodness, that’s so amazing to hear and glad I could help provide resources to make it happen 🙂 Sending you lots of love!

    Fantastic post, thank you!!
With the help of you blog I have just started using WordPress. The biggest issue I have is not being able to organize my images in the “Insert Media – Media Library” panel by country (or any other category). Is there a plugin you can recommend that allows for file creation? FileBird does the job but limits users to 10 folders which isn’t sufficient.
    Thanks so much in advance!!

Hey Erin! Oooh, I understand. I actually just use the regular media upload with WP for my library but like to label things by country so they’re easy to find later on. Because so many of my images are resized in different ways to fit styling of blog posts though, I end up uploading them quite frequently in different sizes, so I don’t use an application like that. But it’s a good idea!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
