Hey girl! We are headed to French Polynesia in April, fingers crossed and were wondering how much cash to bring? We will be there for 11 days just me and my husband. Thank you!

Hi Alicia! That’s suuuuuper difficult for me to give you an idea as it really depends on what you’re doing, if you’re staying at a resort, and what activities you have planned. If you’re at a resort, I would check the activity pricing and menus to get an idea. I personally never bring cash, especially to an island destination If you’re staying at a resort in Bora Bora, it’ll just be charged to your account. But if you’re in a place like Mo’orea and you’re going to be exploring locally, you can always pull cash from an ATM when you arrive. In that case, again, it’s so hard for me to estimate what you’ll spend per day as everyone is different.

That said, if you’re eating locally (not at resorts) maybe estimate $20 a meal per day, plus transportation, plus activities. I hope that makes sense!

Today is a beautiful reminder that the steps we take now ripple into the future. We’re not just caring for nature—we’re caring for generations to come. 🌱👣

Every small shift from ditching plastic, rethinking how we travel, to choosing sustainable over convenient adds up. These everyday choices help protect the planet our kids, nieces, nephews, and future dreamers will one day explore.

It doesn’t have to be perfect or overwhelming. Start small. Stay curious. Keep going. 💚

I’ve shared a few resources in my stories today for anyone looking to make a difference, no matter where you’re starting from.

Let’s protect this beautiful world, together. For today, for tomorrow, for all the tomorrows after that. 🌎✨
