thanks for sharing! can you give some insight in how you book your flights? Also, I’m considering travelling to Italy from Oktoberfest, any tips on how I could book that? Sorry for being clueless, never been to Europe before 🙂

    • I would just do a google flight search for flights, but the earlier the better as it gets pretty expensive around that time! And yes! Traveling to Italy after is a great idea. It’s very easy to travel Europe by train so I would look into that 🙂

Has anyone done the camping with Stoke? I’m a bit nervous about the cold in October in germany…. but they have a glamping option with power and hot water bottles so thinking that would be okay?

    • It’s definitely chilly because you’re sleeping outside of course, but if you pack accordingly (sweats/sweatshirt) and you’re willing to rough it a bit, it’s SUPER fun. If you have the money to spring for the glamping option I’m sure that would be a little more comfortable!

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
