I spent one AMAZING night at the Four Seasons Amman at the very start of my return trip to Jordan, using it as a base to recharge before heading off to explore other gems in Jordan, including Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea.
The hotel has this calm, elevated vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed, with beautiful city views, super comfy rooms, and that signature Four Seasons service that makes you feel like a total VIP.
It was exactly what I needed after a long flight and the ideal place to kick off my Jordan journey.

Getting There
The Four Seasons Amman is about a 30–50 minute drive from Queen Alia International Airport, depending on traffic—and yes, there is an official airport taxi service. It’s super handy because the rates are fixed (no haggling required!) and regulated by the airport, so you know exactly what to expect.
Want to treat yourself after that long-haul flight? The hotel can arrange a private limousine pick-up (for an extra cost), complete with chilled towels, water, international newspapers, and even a curated playlist. The best bit? You’ll get an in-room dining menu to browse on the way, so you can arrive to your fave dish waiting for you. Yes, please.
Planning to explore Jordan by car? The Concierge can help organise rentals, plus valet parking at the hotel is totally free.
Services & Amenities
Whether you’re winding down after a day at Petra or squeezing in a pre-flight sweat sesh, Four Seasons has you totally covered.
Pools: Take a dip in the dreamy Romanesque outdoor pool, complete with hilltop views and plenty of poolside loungers. Visiting in winter? There’s also a heated indoor pool with tons of natural light, so you can still get your float on, even when it’s chilly.
Fitness Centre: Open 24/7 for those post-hike stretches or pre-breakfast workouts. The gym has everything from cardio to free weights, and even a squash court if you’re feeling competitive.
Wellness Space: Unwind in the sauna or steam room, book a massage or facial, or pop into the nail salon for a little pampering. The spa treatments blend local ingredients and relaxing vibes for the ultimate reset.
Little Luxuries: There’s 24-hour laundry and dry-cleaning (super handy post-hike), plus early morning coffee, tea, and muffins to fuel your Petra adventures.
The Location
Set atop the tallest of Amman’s seven hills, in the leafy, upscale neighbourhood of Abdoun, the Four Seasons Amman brings serious views and vibes. Located in the city’s 5th Circle, home to Amman’s luxury hotels, so you’ll be in chic company with the Ritz, St. Regis, and Fairmont nearby.

Activities & Experiences in Amman
Explore, taste, and float your way through Jordan with these unforgettable experiences you can enjoy during your stay at Four Seasons Amman:
Cook Like a Parisian: Join a monthly French cooking class in the open kitchen at La Capitale Brasserie. With expert chefs guiding the way, you’ll whip up some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, then sit down and savor the fruits of your labour. Oui, chef!
Visit The Duke’s Diwan: Step inside one of Amman’s oldest heritage homes. Tucked away in downtown Amman, this little museum is filled with vintage furniture, old photographs, and nostalgic details that make it feel like time has stood still.
Explore Rainbow Street: One of the best spots in Amman for a wander! Rainbow Street is lined with cute cafés, bars, local boutiques, and some of the city’s best restaurants. Come here for a lazy stroll, a drink with a view, a little shopping, and lots of people-watching.
Take a Day Trip to Jerash: Just north of Amman, Jerash has some of the most impressive Roman ruins in the region. Wander through ancient streets and preserved archaeological remains, then stop by the Jerash Archaeological Museum.
Amman Citadel: Hop into a private car and head to the Amman Citadel, an archaeological site just minutes from the hotel. The views over downtown are stunning.
Visit Petra: You can’t come to Jordan and skip Petra. Four Seasons Amman offers the most amazing private tour. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast-to-go and a sweet little treat for the road, then cruise down in luxury transport to this ancient wonder. Want to make it even more epic? Opt for a helicopter transfer and soak up the views from the sky.
Float in the Dead Sea: Let the hotel arrange a private ride to the Dead Sea, where you’ll float in the famously dense, salty water and experience the benefits of the sea’s rich mineral mud. It’s salty, surreal, and an absolute must!
Explore Wadi Rum: Channel your inner adventurer in Wadi Rum, a vast desert of towering cliffs, natural arches, and ancient petroglyphs. Go off-roading, float in a hot air balloon, and tuck into a traditional Bedouin lunch cooked underground (yes, really). Want the full experience? Stay overnight in a luxe tent under the stars.
