I’m planning going to Bali this August. Is it save going there durin covid-19 pandemic?

Hi Andrean! As I am not a health professional, I don’t feel like I am the right person to comment on this. Especially as things are changing day by day. I would suggest looking into the CDC and WHO recommendations and what the local government in Bali is saying.

Hello Kiersten, I really enjoy reading your Blog on Bali. Unfortunately, our beautiful island is struck pretty hard by corona and we don’t have and tourism right now. So I´m working on my website bali driver to improve and have new guest for my driver service soon. If you’re in Bali let me know – I will give you free ride. In the meantime let me know what you think about my site.

    Looking forward – Best Denis

PS: I hope than many Bali interested people read your block to see how beautiful Bali is. 🙂

Hi Denis, thank you for sharing! I don’t have any plans to travel to Bali right now – but I understand. So many places that are reliant on tourism are struggling right now. Wishing you all the best as well as the beautiful place of Bali, it truly is so special <3

Welcome to Wadi Rum, Jordan — the red desert wonderland that feels like another planet. 🌌

From racing through the dunes on a 4x4 tour, to sleeping under the stars in a Martian-style tent 🛖✨, to soaring over the landscape in a hot air balloon at sunrise 🎈— this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Add Wadi Rum to your bucket list — you won’t believe it’s real until you see it.

Back in Jordan for the fourth time, and it continues to inspire me just as much as it did on my first visit in 2012! 🐪

Jordan remains one of my all-time favorite destinations thanks to its incredible diversity and rich cultural experiences.

From exploring the ancient city of Petra and floating in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, to discovering the vibrant streets of Amman, sleeping under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert, and scuba diving in the crystal-clear Red Sea in Aqaba—every journey here offers something unforgettable.

One experience I always recommend (and can’t wait to do again) is canyoning the Siq Trail in Wadi Mujib.

There’s truly no place like Jordan. 🇯🇴✨
