Oo! Great information to know! I definitely need to give this country a visit 🙂

Yes! I absolutely love Morocco 🙂

How much would you say you spent for the whole trip? What’s your best guess? Also, is tipping a thing there?

    • The Blonde Abroad

Hey Hailey! Tipping is seen as a nice gesture for good service — it doesn’t have to be a lot, usually a few dirhams. Be mindful of some things that aren’t as common in the US that do politely accept tips — bathroom attendants, folks you take photos with, guides, car drivers, etc.

It’s so hard to give an estimate for how much you spend because it really depends on the duration of your trip, where you’re staying — if you’re sticking to hostels or adding in a few nice riads, plus if you’re going to other places within the country you need to consider transportation. My best suggestion for figuring out your budget—consider how long you want to go, figure out where—do you need to take taxis, trains, planes? And then figure out accommodation expenses. On top of that, budget out for food (the food is the relatively inexpensive part, IMO). There are some other tips here: https://theblondeabroad.com/essential-tips-morocco/

      I hope that helps! <3

Thousands of unread emails. Hundreds of text messages I haven’t responded to.

Flights, content creation, school logistics, edits, visas — usually all open at the same time. When you’re juggling that many tabs, you need a laptop that can actually keep up.

My laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen AI and is built for real multitasking, lets me run AI tools directly on my laptop (even offline), and keeps my editing workflow moving fast.

Multitasking is a lifestyle. Good thing this one’s built for it.

There’s something really special about finding a place that feels like your own childhood… and what you always dreamed of for your own kid 🤍

Tucked away in the Cape Winelands, about an hour from Cape Town, South Africa, @camp.canoe is one of those places that somehow feels both completely off-grid and perfectly convenient.

Set on one of my favorite family-friendly wine farms, @boschendal, you get the best of both worlds—wide open space, no distractions, and just enough nearby to make it effortless with little ones (and fun for the adults).

Days here look like:
– swimming in the dam
– slow mornings outside
– wood-fired hot tub soaks
– braai (bbq) under the stars

It’s a little bit luxe, it’s nostalgic, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer. ✨

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
