  1. I did this when I moved to Australia! It was such an easy visa to obtain – but harder to find a job. This is such a detailed post for anyone looking to do the same thing. Nice work x

So glad you think so, Rachel! Where in Australia were you living and did you end up finding work?

Hey there! Love this post. One thing I’d point out is that once a working holiday visa is granted, you have an entire year until you need to enter. So if it is granted Feb 1, you have until Feb 1 the following year to enter, not so much just come and go. Just not to confuse anyone- if I decided to wait until January of the following year to go, my visa would still be valid for a full year after the point of entering the country in January. The moment you touch ground in Australia is the moment it starts your 12months! Just thought I’d clarify that to help anyone out!

I lived and worked in Sydney for about a year and used to work in international education with visas for Americans entering Australia all the time ? I miss it so much!

I’d also recommend adding flatmatefinders.com or flatmates.com.au for apartment hunting! I found my best friends/flat mates on flatmates.com.au and was able to rent week to week. It was super easy and I miss my friends!!

Love your content and hope that helps a bit further!

Today is a beautiful reminder that the steps we take now ripple into the future. We’re not just caring for nature—we’re caring for generations to come. 🌱👣

Every small shift from ditching plastic, rethinking how we travel, to choosing sustainable over convenient adds up. These everyday choices help protect the planet our kids, nieces, nephews, and future dreamers will one day explore.

It doesn’t have to be perfect or overwhelming. Start small. Stay curious. Keep going. 💚

I’ve shared a few resources in my stories today for anyone looking to make a difference, no matter where you’re starting from.

Let’s protect this beautiful world, together. For today, for tomorrow, for all the tomorrows after that. 🌎✨
