Never thought I’d be stocking up on alcohol at the local airport, but good tip. Sounds like the perfect way to do Iceland.

    Hi Kiersten,

Would you recommend a camper that includes a heater? I’m planning on going around the same time.

Hi Chris, a heater is always helpful to fight the cold!

Hi! We are thinking of going early October – hubby doesn’t drive a stick, so it would be all me driving. How many hours per day did you drive? We’d like to do the highlights of the ring, keeping in mind I have a 3 year old energetic boy and have about 10 days max. And did you find you missed out on much without access to a 4×4? Thanks! Really great article!

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
