Thank you so much for this! I’ve learned a lot from this post!
I started travel blogging a year ago and I love everything about it, though I am not making any money with it just yet. Since corona hit, I’ve been struggling with things to write about, since I can’t travel, obviously. This post is really helpful, with little things I can do that will hopefully help my blog getting bigger 🙂 So thank you 🙂

    Hi Kirsten,

Loved this post! So much helpful info for Travel Bloggers. Im currently trying to scale my images. How do you resize your images without losing the quality that aren’t uploaded to Lightroom? Thank you.

Hi Ashlea! If they aren’t in Lightroom, I resize the images in Photoshop and save them under 300KB.

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
