Very good article and super helpful! I have a new travel blog, and I just quit my corporate office at the end of the year to dedicate full time to my blog (what a bad time, right?) – I saw my traffic drop dramatic, but I still have tons of work to do, and things to learn in order to improve my online business. It is hard to keep motivated while we don’t see them grow, but now, more than ever is important to have a vision and to work towards future opportunities.

Hey Paula! Oh goodness—we can’t predict the future but maybe look at it as a way to expand your horizons and creativity? And I completely understand that sentiment.

  2. This post was so helpful, thank you! I’ve just installed the SEO plugin – I’ve been spending a lot of this time improving my blog and I’m starting to see results which is really motivating 🙂

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
