The Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California has gained global recognition for its incredible talent lineup as well as its fashion influence. Festivals have long been liberating style- from the hippie culture of Woodstock 1969 to the eccentric culture of Burning Man. The best part of festival fashion is that it’s not unique to any one style. Anything goes.
So, have fun with your own self-expression!
Coachella fashion has become somewhat of a household name inspiring celebrities like supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and pop star Katy Perry. I’ll be going to the festival for my 4th year and, like many girls, I’ve been planning my Coachella outfits on Pinterest for months.
I have long obsessed over the colorful gypsy style of my friend, Sara. She inspires the fashion world via her blog, Sara Libby, with her oh-so-boho style that is unique and effortlessly chic. We got together with my friend and incredibly talented photographer, Carly Arnwine, to shoot a few of our favorite looks for some Coachella style inspiration.

I love it. This post just inspired me to buy a top and sweater from Free People! (Can I send you that bill?) Time to dig in to my mother’s closet for all her turquoise jewelry and “concha belts.” Had no idea that they were called that but I’m so glad she’s a hoarder and still has all those goodies!
