I’m from the Litchfield Hills area of CT, so if you make that your destination I have some recommendations! Kent, CT along the way on Route 7 is a fantastic small town and home to Kent Falls, a very pretty spot for hiking. It also has some great little shops and boutiques.
Further south on Rte 7 is New Milford, whose Main Street area know as The Green is one of the inspirations for Stars Hollow of Gilmore Girls fame, thanks to the Gazebo. There’s some nice shops and eateries around there and it’s worth a pit stop to walk around this quaint New England town center. If you’re look for some really good pizza, the Brickhouse on Rte. 7 acrossish from the Starbucks is really good and my fave place for Sicilian pizza in the area.

You can also cut through the green to get onto Route 202, which is where you can take it north to Washington Depot, another Gilmore Girls inspired stop and it’s a pretty drive.
And if you want an iconic grocery store experience, check out Stew Leonards that’s further south of New Milford on Rte 7 in Danbury. It’s an experience, though right now not sure how it’s been with COVID.

Concerts are one of the most obvious “loud” environments where hearing damage can happen.

But let’s be real: traveling can be noisy AF sometimes – whether it’s crying babies or snoring men on the plane or just the hustle and bustle of a busy city.

With up to 30 dB of noise reduction, you can enjoy undisturbed sleep, enhanced focus during work or study sessions, and the ability to relax in noisy environments.

First off, how genius is the design? The curved shape perfectly fits your ear, blocking out all the unwanted noise without feeling like you’ve got something bulky shoved in there. The ergonomic design ensures a secure yet comfortable fit.

They’re also reusable and easy to clean, so you can say goodbye to those flimsy disposable ones that end up in a landfill —saving the planet *and* protecting your hearing. Yes, please!
