  1. Carley

So my boyfriend is French and we just got back from 2 weeks in Brittany, France, deep in the country to visit his whole family. I’m talking very rural, tractors are driving on the roads EVERYWHERE!
This article is pretty spot on. We ate at their home for every single meal, and for weekday dinners and weekend lunches and dinners, this is spot on! (Weekday lunches are more casual and not really with alcohol lol, breakfasts aren’t a group thing)
The aperitif was my favorite, everyone getting to chat and talk. Dinner starts at the table with usually a bottle of wine, and a salad or entree(app), then the main dish, the cheese course after and ending with dessert and or coffee! Dessert was usually Italian made ice cream or chocolates(quality from nestle). My partners mother is Italian and father is from the region in France they live now, so it was very French and Italian based meals, but it was a huge range! Couscous and paella were my favorite dishes!

I love that you shared this style!! I honestly fell in love with it! And you were super accurate for when I just experienced!
(Paris is very different from rural Brittany, I spent time in both. If you ever get the chance to see Brittany, I highly recommend it in the summer 😀 )

Today is a beautiful reminder that the steps we take now ripple into the future. We’re not just caring for nature—we’re caring for generations to come. 🌱👣

Every small shift from ditching plastic, rethinking how we travel, to choosing sustainable over convenient adds up. These everyday choices help protect the planet our kids, nieces, nephews, and future dreamers will one day explore.

It doesn’t have to be perfect or overwhelming. Start small. Stay curious. Keep going. 💚

I’ve shared a few resources in my stories today for anyone looking to make a difference, no matter where you’re starting from.

Let’s protect this beautiful world, together. For today, for tomorrow, for all the tomorrows after that. 🌎✨
