    Hi There,

We are two Australian who are booked in and ready for our first Burning Man.

We would love to join a group, however, with the exception of reading everything possible, don’t know how to join or what the process is, or even if it’s possible.

    Can you help?

    Regards,
    Anthony

    • You can research Theme Camps you might be interested in joining and reach out to see their requirements for contributions and if they have space or are taking “virgins.” Your own network is typically best for finding cool camps that are excited to welcome first-timers. It looks like there’s a regional Australia community that might be a good resource to reach out to https://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/australasia/australia/ My friends run camp Bang Bang and there are a lot of Australians so they might also be a good camp to reach out to http://www.campbangbang.com/

FYI- you absolutely CAN NOT skydive INTO burning man.

If you are a liscenced skydiver woth 200+ jumps you can register with Burning Sky- the skydiver camp. To skydive AT burning man you must drive in, through the gate, with all your gear and a ticket and can then (once you check in at camp with all your skydiving credentials and a valid in date FAA reserve card) take off from the burning man airport and then jump over burning man and land back at the event. Once you land, you can expect rangers to possibly ask for your ticket to make sure you are legitamitaly allows to be there. 🙂

Hi Cyn, thank you for the comment! I’ve updated the post—I missed that part when chatting with the folks that did it!

Thousands of unread emails. Hundreds of text messages I haven’t responded to.

Flights, content creation, school logistics, edits, visas — usually all open at the same time. When you’re juggling that many tabs, you need a laptop that can actually keep up.

My laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen AI and is built for real multitasking, lets me run AI tools directly on my laptop (even offline), and keeps my editing workflow moving fast.

Multitasking is a lifestyle. Good thing this one’s built for it.

There’s something really special about finding a place that feels like your own childhood… and what you always dreamed of for your own kid 🤍

Tucked away in the Cape Winelands, about an hour from Cape Town, South Africa, @camp.canoe is one of those places that somehow feels both completely off-grid and perfectly convenient.

Set on one of my favorite family-friendly wine farms, @boschendal, you get the best of both worlds—wide open space, no distractions, and just enough nearby to make it effortless with little ones (and fun for the adults).

Days here look like:
– swimming in the dam
– slow mornings outside
– wood-fired hot tub soaks
– braai (bbq) under the stars

It’s a little bit luxe, it’s nostalgic, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer. ✨

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
