  1. Paola

Great Article, Im a solo traveller, i have just two questions how do you get that amazing pictures? when i traveled by myself its so hard to find someone to take a good picture, my photos are just bad selfies or great landscapes, and if i ask people to take pictures of me i feel like im being so annoying, and in some countries iam even afraid of getting robbed, and my second question is which camera do you use? i have a SLR but i find it too heavy to carry around

  2. Well, i haven’t traveled solo yet. Still saving some money to buy airplane ticket and also arrange my travel itinerary. I’m 15 years old, attend in vocational high school with tourism subject and i’m indonesian. First route i always want to travel to is Bali. I guess i have that pretty darn brave feeling for traveling solo but when i told my ambition to my mom, she seems very ‘un agree’ while my father said you can but be safe :/
    Oh well…

There’s something really special about finding a place that feels like your own childhood… and what you always dreamed of for your own kid 🤍

Tucked away in the Cape Winelands, about an hour from Cape Town, South Africa, @camp.canoe is one of those places that somehow feels both completely off-grid and perfectly convenient.

Set on one of my favorite family-friendly wine farms, @boschendal, you get the best of both worlds—wide open space, no distractions, and just enough nearby to make it effortless with little ones (and fun for the adults).

Days here look like:
– swimming in the dam
– slow mornings outside
– wood-fired hot tub soaks
– braai (bbq) under the stars

It’s a little bit luxe, it’s nostalgic, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer. ✨

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
